Tottenham could still have a chance to sign Douglas Costa with his Juventus switch stalling.
Last month Brazilian winger Douglas Costa appeared poised to seal a transfer to Juventus, with The Sun reporting a £35 million fee had been agreed with Bayern Munich.
That was over two weeks ago and a deal is no closer to getting over the line.
Tutto Sport have reported that Juventus are looking at alternatives to Costa, with Monaco’s Lemar among the names.
With the deal for Costa on the rocks, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur should revisit their own interest in the Bayern Munich star.

The Mirror reported earlier this summer that Spurs were eyeing a £30 million move for the winger.
Bayern evidently want even more, but with his move to Turin broken down, there is hope for Spurs that they could re-enter the race.

Spurs are no closer to securing any of their transfer targets this summer, and a winger should be a top priority with Erik Lamela still on the treatment table.
Costa is a player of proven pedigree, a title winner and experienced in the Champions League, and is still only 26.
Tottenham should not give up on him, especially now they have an ideal opportunity to steal in and nab him from under Juventus’ noses.
