Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are hoping that former Arsenal manager Unai Emery does them a favour and signs Tanguy Ndombele for Villarreal in the summer transfer window, according to Get French Football News.
Tottenham hope former Arsenal manager Emery signs Ndombele
The report has claimed that Tottenham want to offload Ndombele, and are hoping that Villarreal sign the France international midfielder this summer.
However, Spurs are resigned to the idea that they will have to change their stance about selling Ndombele and will have to accept a loan deal with an option to make it permanent next summer.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte has left the 25-year-old out of his pre-season squad.

Exit likely
In our view, it is likely that Tanguy Ndombele will not play for Tottenham Hotspur again.
The midfielder cost Tottenham £63 million when they signed him from Lyon in 2019 (Sky Sports).
Ndombele has struggled to play consistently well for Spurs and spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon.
We do not think that Tottenham will get £63 million for the Frenchman now.
Spurs will have to make a considerable loss on the 25-year-old, but if Villarreal sign him, even on loan, then they will save some money on his salary.
