Tottenham Hotspur have been unable to find an agreement on personal terms with Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
Tottenham Hotspur are currently ‘some way off’ the demands of Fulham centre back Tosin Adarabioyo.
That is according to The Independent, who claim that Fulham are in talks to sell Adarabioyo to Monaco.
That has been Adarabioyo’s preferred move all summer long and he could fairly head to Ligue 1.
Monaco are able to give Adarabioyo a key first-team role, which is what ultimately appeals to the Fulham ace.
Tottenham have been interested in Adarabioyo too but they are likely to view him as competition for Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
The report also claims that the Tottenham hierarchy have been struggling to agree personal terms with Adarabioyo.
A move to Monaco is now drawing closer with ‘productive talks’ taking place and a deal expected ahead of the transfer deadline.

Why do Fulham want Tosin Adarabioyo to join Tottenham?
Recent rumours have suggested that Fulham actually want Adarabioyo to join Tottenham over Monaco.
That may sound strange but Fulham have their reasons – and it surrounds Spurs defender Eric Dier.
RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins reported earlier this month that Marco Silva wants Adarabioyo to join Spurs in a swap deal for Dier.
Silva and Dier briefly worked together at Sporting in Portugal and the Fulham boss wants a reunion.

Fulham have seemingly given up hope of keeping Adarabioyo now he is into the final year of his contract.
A move to Spurs would have given Silva the replacement he wanted, but Tottenham will surely be open to simply selling Dier to Fulham.
Dier has no role to play under Ange Postecoglou and could be on the move before the transfer deadline.
It looks like Spurs won’t be landing Adarabioyo but there is at least some hope that Fulham can still land Dier.
