Tottenham Hotspur defender reacts to World Cup heartbreak.

Davinson Sanchez was unlucky to be on the wrong end of a World Cup penalty shootout loss against England.
For once the Three Lions were victorious on penalties, with Sanchez’s Tottenham teammates Harry Kane, Kieran Trippier and Eric Dier all dispatching their spot kicks.
Sanchez was superb in defence and showed just why Spurs made him their record signing last summer.

The centre-back was proud of the way he and his team played, and sent a message on Twitter after the loss.
He wrote: “We leave everything for our colors today more than ever proud of being Colombian.”
Sanchez will have a short break before returning to Spurs at the end of the month.
Supporters were impressed with his performance and responded to his message to let him know they were proud.
