Tottenham Hotspur have eyed Harry Souttar in recent times and the defender has been hailed for his latest Australia display.
Not many people were backing Australia to beat Denmark and secure a spot in the last 16 of the World Cup.
Yet with Denmark struggling to get going in Qatar, Australia took full advantage.
Matthew Leckie fired the only goal of the game, securing Australia’s passage into the last 16 – and a meeting with Argentina.

Harry Souttar hailed after Tottenham links
A number of Australia players have turned in strong performances in this tournament.
Defender Harry Souttar stands out with the Stoke City star proving to be a rock in the heart of the Australia back line.
Souttar, 24, is an enormous centre back at 6ft 6in tall and has actually attracted plenty of transfer interest in recent times.
The Stoke Sentinel reported last season that David Pleat was spotted scouting Souttar for Tottenham.
Pleat regularly looks into EFL players as potential signings for Tottenham; that’s how Dele Alli ended up at Spurs.
Yet just as Tottenham were being linked with Souttar, the defender suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and missed around a year of action.
Souttar played just once for Stoke before the World Cup so his impact for Australia has been pretty incredible.
If Souttar can stay fit, you can be sure that Premier League clubs – maybe even Tottenham – will be back in the mix for the defender.
The Australian media are now raving about Souttar with Optus rating him at nine out of 10 against Denmark.
They described Souttar as an ‘absolute colossus’, praising him for getting his head to everything and putting his body on the line for the cause.
That’s exactly what you want from a defender and Tottenham may be wise to keep tabs on Souttar as a potential backup to Eric Dier in the middle of their back three under Antonio Conte.
