Son Heung-man claims he’s constantly thinking ‘wow’ when watching ‘unreal’ Tottenham player

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has heaped praise on Harry Kane after another superb performance against Leeds United at the weekend.

Kane and Son were at it once again on Saturday afternoon as Tottenham smashed Leeds United 4-0 at Elland Road.

With Tottenham already 2-0 up, Kane produced a superb finish to divert PIerre-Emile Hojbjerg’s pass into the net.

Tottenham were coasting to victory but there was still time for one more goal as Kane pinged a stunning pass into Son Heung-min, who fired in number four.

That goal not only sealed the win but also gave Son and Kane the Premier League record for goal contributions.

That’s now 37 times that Son and Kane have set each other up for Premier League goals, beating the previous record of 36 by Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard.

This record has been coming for a while now, especially after the pair combined for so many goals under Jose Mourinho last season.

Son and Kane were superb against Manchester City too, with the duo seemingly hitting top form as Tottenham chase a top four spot.

Whilst we already know that Kane has his name written in Tottenham’s history books, but Son needs to be in there too after a superb stint with Tottenham.

Both players are thriving, and Son has now paid tribute to Kane after clinching that record on Saturday.

Speaking to Football London, Son has suggested that words no longer do Kane justice, claiming ‘phenomenal’ and ‘superb’ just aren’t enough for Kane.

Son did admit that he is constantly in awe of Kane, suggesting he is doing ‘unbelievable’ things on a regular basis for Tottenham

Son added that Kane is ‘unreal’ and feels privileged to be playing alongside him at Tottenham, with the duo no doubt set to cause even more mayhem going forward.

“What can I say more about Harry? Ppffffff. I think any compliment, I’m gone. I can’t say any more words about him,” said Son. “You can say ‘superb’. You can say ‘phenomenal’. It’s not enough for me.”

“I’ve played together with him for a long time and I’m still looking at him and thinking, ‘Wow, this is unbelievable’, you know? So I think the words are not enough for me. He’s just an unreal player. I’m really happy to work with him every day and playing together is a big honour,” he added.
