Tottenham Hotspur have surprised many by bringing in Yaya Toure for an informal coaching role – and some fans now want him to work magic on Tanguy Ndombele.
Toure to Tottenham – what’s the story?
Out of nowhere just a matter of days ago, Toure was seen coaching with Tottenham.
The Athletic reported that Toure was helping out with Tottenham’s youth setup as he learns his trade as a coach.
Toure, a Premier League and Champions League winner as a player, has coached in Ukraine, Russia and even Wales.
Now working with Chris Powell in the Tottenham youth setup, Toure is only coming in a couple of days a week.
This may or may not lead to a permanent, long-term role for Toure, but Tottenham fans are already getting excited.

Tottenham fans are pretty excited about Toure’s possible future as a coach with the club.
The main reason for that excitement surrounds Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele hasn’t quite lived up to expectations with Tottenham despite showing flashes of his ability.
Antonio Conte hasn’t quite warmed to Ndombele yet, and it’s unclear whether any Tottenham manager will unlock him.
Having been a true box-to-box midfielder who could charge through you just as well as he could dribble past you, Toure is seen as the man to do it.
Some Tottenham fans think their potential link-up will be ‘scary, backing Toure to turn Ndombele into a world beater.
That may never happen, but fans are dreaming of Toure teaching Ndombele a thing or two about midfield play.
