Manchester United lost 3-0 at home to Tottenham Hotspur last night.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho spoke to reporters after his side’s bitterly disappointing 3-0 home defeat tot Tottenham last night, and shared what he told his players at half-time when the game was tied at 0-0, as quoted by the Express.
Spurs totally dominated during the second half, and ruthlessly dispatched of the Red Devils, leaving Mourinho’s men languishing in 13th position in the Premier League table.
Tottenham were head and shoulders above United, but things could have been so different if Mourinho’s side had taken their first half chances.
Mourinho spoke to reporters after the game, sharing what he told his players at half-time, and how it came back to bite his side, as quoted by the Express:

“We were frustrated with the result at half-time but we believed, really believed, that we were going to win the game. The last thing I told the players when I left the dressing room, was that in the first half they had zero free kicks and zero corners, make sure if they have one that you cope with it. One corner, one goal and the game changed.”
Tottenham, of course, went straight out and scored from a corner in the 50th minute, and from there on in, there was only one winner.
United will have to dust themselves off quickly, with a trip to Burnley next up on the agenda.
