The Tottenham Hotspur star suffered a groin injury yesterday.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media after his side earned a valuable three points away at Crystal Palace yesterday, and delivered an update on Kieran Tripper, after the right-back was forced off in the first-half with a groin injury, as quoted by Football.London.
The 28-year-old has been in sensational form for club and country over the past 18 months or so, and he has proven to be a vital component to the way in which Spurs and England play.
Tottenham fans will be praying that Trippier returns to action sooner rather than later, although Pochettino does have Serge Aurier to call upon in reserve.
The Argentine spoke to reporters yesterday, and delivered an update on the former Burnley man, suggesting that he is hopeful that it is not a serious injury, as quoted by Football.London:

“I hope it’s not a big issue. We don’t know. We need to see, the doctors and medical staff will assess him and then the medical staff of England and they will see if he’s going to be involved or not.”
Tottenham have two weeks off now due to the international break, and it remains unclear as to whether Trippier will feature for England against the USA and Croatia.
