Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Kieran Trippier back on Wednesday night.

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action again on Wednesday night as they host Southampton at Wembley Stadium, with Mauricio Pochettino desperate for a response.
Spurs lost 4-2 at bitter rivals Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, falling apart in the second half having been 2-1 up at the break at the Emirates Stadium.
It’s back to home comforts for Tottenham, or the nearest thing for Spurs as their wait for their new stadium goes on, and they should be hot favourites over managerless Southampton.
Pochettino will be looking to rotate his side for this game, and having given Serge Aurier three starts in a row, he has been given a boost at right back with Kieran Trippier’s return.
The England international’s return should be a welcome boost for Pochettino, but Spurs fans aren’t impressed, and don’t even want him to start.

Instead, many Spurs fans took to Twitter to suggest that Kyle Walker-Peters should be given a chance at right back, as this is the perfect opportunity to give him Premier League football.
The youngster has played just once this season, and that came in the League Cup, and Spurs fans responded to news of Trippier’s return by saying ‘please God no’ and ‘ugh’, as they were looking forward to seeing Walker-Peters play – something that may no longer happen.
