Spurs fans reacted to Golovin’s performance during Russia’s surprise win over Spain on Sunday.

Russia playmaker Aleksandr Golovin starred in his country’s surprise win over Spain in their World Cup Round of 16 clash – and Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted to the star’s display.
Golovin, 22, was integral to Russia’s 1-1 draw that saw Sergei Ignashevich score an own goal before Artem Dzuyba equalised from the penalty spot just before half time.

The CSKA Moscow attacker showed off his fancy footwork, direct style of play and eye for goal once again as he continues to provide the link between midfield and attack in a side that have blown away pre-tournament expectations.

But Tottenham Hotspur fans are desperate for their club to battle their London rivals, as Golovin continues to shine at this summer’s World Cup in his home country.
One fan reckons Golovin is “miles better than [Moussa] Sissoko”, while others questioned why their club had not been reported as one of the interested parties in the CSKA sensation’s signature.
