Spurs trio Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen are in the running to make the illustrious XI for 2019.

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the Spurs trio who have made the shortlist for the FIFA FIFPRO World XI.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have made the cut in the forward category, while Christian Eriksen features in the midfield category for the 2018-19 Champions League finalists.

Last season, Kane followed up his England semi-final finish at the World Cup with 40 appearances for Spurs in all competitions, scoring 24 goals and registering six assists (Transfermarkt).

Son also followed up a bright international campaign – winning the Asian Games with South Korea – with a prolific season for Tottenham, with 48 appearances, 20 goals and 10 assists under his belt in 2018-19.

Double figures in goals and assists also came Eriksen’s way, with 10 goals and 17 assists from a gargantuan 51 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last term, according to Transfermarkt.

The Men’s XI will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in Milan’s Teatro della Scala on September 23.
