Although things aren’t going too well at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena, the Spurs fan favourite continues to shine for Mauricio Pochettino and co.

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that Spurs ace Son Heung-min has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award (official THFC website).
The South Korea international and Tottenham fan favourite started all four of Spurs’ top-flight matches last month, scoring twice in the 4-0 home victory over Crystal Palace on 14 September.
In addition, Son won the penalty from which Harry Kane scored in the 2-2 draw at Arsenal at the start of last month, as well as supplying assists in the 2-1 defeat at Leicester City and the 2-1 home victory over Southampton.
During a particularly tricky period for Mauricio Pochettino’s side which has included indifferent domestic results, a humiliating loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, poor performances and off-the-field rumours, the 27-year-old has continued to shine for Spurs.
Here is how some Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter when the club shared the news on their feed:
Son will vie with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez, John McGinn, Ricardo Pereira and Callum Wilson for the right to be named the best Premier League player in the month just gone.
