The Spurs full-back limped off on Ivory Coast duty and could now be a doubt for the Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a blow ahead of their upcoming Premier League meeting with Liverpool as Serge Aurier limped off the pitch while on international duty, as reported by The Sun.
The 26-year-old Spurs right-back led Ivory Coast out against Rwanda in their Africa Cup of Nations Group H qualifier in Abidjan but lasted just 30 minutes before he picked up what appeared to be a thigh injury and had to be substituted, Metz midfielder Victorien Angban taking his place.
Tottenham’s official Twitter account posted about Aurier’s role and game time, though it didn’t mention the early substitution or apparent injury:
Some Spurs fans took to the social media platform and gave their thoughts on the player, with quite a bit of concern:
Aurier has played just 17 games for Spurs this season in all competitions (Transfermarkt) due to a mixture of injuries and manager Mauricio Pochettino mostly opting to utilise Kieran Trippier.
After playing in the Champions League last-16 second-leg win over Borussia Dortmund, alongside Toby Alderweireld, Aurier was left out of the Southampton defeat as a precaution.
Ivory Coast beat Rwanda 3-0 to go level on points with Guinea in Group H, who have played a game less.
