Kane suffered an ankle injury in the Champions League game against fellow Premier League side Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have not taken well to Mauricio Pochettino’s recent comments about Harry Kane’s injury.
The Spurs striker was forced off in the second half of Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kane had attempted to block a Fabian Delph pass but he rolled his left ankle moments before the left-back followed through and connected with the striker’s ankle.
On Thursday, Tottenham confirmed that the England captain had suffered a significant lateral ligament injury to his left ankle – the second ankle problem he has had in 2019.
In conversation with Spurs TV, Pochettino said of his player: “He’s okay, he’s always a positive guy but of course it’s so sad and disappointing. Now it’s about being positive, thinking positively, trying to recover as soon as possible and thinking about his rehab.
“We are so sad. We care a lot for him and for all our players that are injured. It was a tough moment for him, for us and it’s about wishing and to hope that it’s not a big issue but it’s true that the news is not good. We’ll see. Day-by-day we’re assessing him and trying to help him to recover as soon as possible.”

Kane famously made an early comeback from his injury at the start of the year, with the initial estimated return time set for March, but he was back against Burnley on 23 February (BBC Sport).
Following Poch’s comments, a number of Lilywhites faithful took to Twitter and urged him and his coaching team not to rush Kane back, even if that means not returning until next season:
With Son Heung-min in the form of his life and Fernando Llorente having performed superbly in the Englishman’s absence earlier this year, Spurs seem to have more than enough up front to enjoy a good end to the season.
