The Spurs and England right-back has come under criticism several times this season.

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier is on the radar of Serie A side Napoli, according to a report from Italy.
Gianluca Di Marzio, an esteemed Italian football journalist, posted on his website that the Partenopei are looking to bolster their ranks for next season following their Europa League exit.
The report goes on to say that Napoli are eager to give Carlo Ancelotti more options on the wings and, as such, have made an inquiry for Trippier.
Aside from the southern Italian side’s alleged interest in the England international, Manchester United are also rumoured to be keeping tabs on the player.
However, Spurs are reportedly not looking to get involved in talks about Trippier’s availability until the end of the season, with the Champions League and a Premier League top-four place still to fight for.
The report, linking Trippier to one of Serie A’s top clubs, has come as a bit of a surprise to a number of Tottenham fans, given the 28-year-old has come under criticism on numerous occasions this season.

For example, Spurs legend Graham Roberts wasn’t happy with Trippier after the midweek win over Manchester City for his marking of Raheem Sterling ahead of the City man’s early goal.
Here is how some of the Lilywhites faithful reacted on Twitter to the speculation:
