The Tottenham and England ace will miss Spurs’ pre-season tour of Asia.

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to wish Eric Dier well following the announcement that he will miss Spurs’ pre-season tour of Asia, as confirmed on the official Lilywhites website.
On Saturday afternoon, Spurs announced that the England international had undergone a medical procedure to correct an issue detected during medical assessments on the first day of pre-season training.
Tottenham confirmed that Dier’s procedure was successful but stated that the defensive midfielder will have to miss the club’s trip to Singapore and Shanghai as he undergoes rehabilitation.
Here is what some of the Lilywhites faithful wrote on the social media platform regarding the update on their player:
The 25-year-old endured a difficult 2018-19 season due to injury and illness, missing four games in October and November with a thigh muscle strain, before suffering with appendicitis and needing an appendectomy, which kept him out for more than a month.
Towards the end of the season, Dier went on to suffer a hip injury, which meant another month out.
He did finish the campaign on a relatively positive note as he claimed his first Premier League goal at the new stadium when he opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 2-2 final-day draw with Everton.
