Three Tottenham Hotspur Arena players have made the Three Lions squad but Spurs midfielder Dele Alli is not one of them.

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Dele Alli’s absence from the latest England squad.
The Spurs midfielder has made four appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season since returning from a hamstring injury, his latest showing coming in the Champions League loss against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Nonetheless, Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate has decided against calling Alli up on Thursday to his squad to face the Czech Republic and Bulgaria in the away Euro Qualifiers this month.
While asked about leaving out Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from the latest England squad, Southgate referred to Alli as well in his answer at the press conference on Thursday.
“It’s little bit like Dele really where their seasons haven’t really got going for either of them,” he is quoted by Football London as saying. “We’re expecting them to challenge in the coming months, but to put them in means I’ve got to leave someone out who is in form and playing well.”
Here is some of the Tottenham fan reaction on social media to Alli’s omission:
Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Harry Winks have been called up by Southgate as England prepare to face Czech Republic on 11 October and Bulgaria on 14 October.
