Spurs are in pole position for a Premier League top four place after beating Brighton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while Arsenal lost at Wolves.

Tottenham Hotspur have had quite an enjoyable week, their win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday a huge boost for their hopes of a Premier League top four finish.
On Wednesday, meanwhile, two other rivals for the Champions League places were downed as Manchester United were beaten 2-0 by title challengers Manchester City at Old Trafford.
However, the cherry on top came in the form of bitter North London rivals Arsenal being embarrassed by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux en route to a 3-1 defeat.
Wolves surged into an emphatic 3-0 lead against the Gunners by half time, and although Sokratis Papastathopoulos pulled a late goal back, it was little more than a consolation.
Unai Emery’s charges boasted over 70 percent of possession against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side and had 11 attempts in total, but just one was on target (Sky Sports).
Going back to Spurs and their win over the Seagulls, the Lilywhites’ Twitter account posted an interview with Christian Eriksen, the matchwinner against Chris Hughton’s side:
It’s worth noting the time it was posted, 9:54pm on Wednesday evening, less than 20 minutes after Arsenal’s humbling loss to Wolves was confirmed on their feed:
