Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they think Joe Rodon’s height will help ease Jose Mourinho’s headache of conceding from opposition set-pieces.
So far this season, the north Londoners have struggled to deal with opponents launching balls into their box.
That specific issue led to Newcastle scoring a late equaliser on September 27th, when Andy Carroll headed the ball onto Eric Dier’s arm and Callum Wilson converted from the spot.
More recently, West Ham managed to snatch a point in similarly late fashion, after a freekick wasn’t cleared properly and Manuel Lanzini smashed in an equaliser.
It was also an issue when Dominic Calvert-Lewin headed in a Lucas Digne freekick on the opening day.
It is unlike a Mourinho side to be so fragile at the back, but Tottenham fans think Rodon’s height will help ease this issue.

The £11 million deadline day signing is a towering presence despite being just 22 years of age. Transfermarkt states that he stands at 1.93m, which equates to a height of six foot three inches.
While it may seem simplistic to say that the Welshman’s height will help stop Tottenham struggling to defend aerial balls, he is more than just a lump.

His aerial prowess is so good that Swansea fans even based their personal chant for Rodon off the back of his heading ability.
Sadly, we cannot reference the whole chant for you due to it containing an expletive, but put simply, the Swans supporters mention that if you threw a brick at Rodon, he’d head it back.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about this topic.
