Tottenham Hotspur picked up a comfortable win this afternoon as they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at home.

Harry Kane fired Spurs in the first half following great pressure, slotting home from a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pass.

Hojbjerg then got on the scoresheet himself to wrap up the win, giving Tottenham all three points as they look to secure European qualification.

Spurs were the better side throughout, and there were a number of players who turned in strong performances this afternoon.

One of them was midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, who has been coming in for criticism from fans in recent times.

His all-round game was strong today, passing the ball well whilst racking up one key pass, one shot on target, three tackles and one clearance.

Fans have been taking to Twitter to praise Lo Celso, suggesting that he was ‘excellent’ and ‘a lot better’ than recent games.

Others still think he needs to find his best role but played well today, suggesting that his defensive contribution is valuable in midfield.
