The Spurs midfielder has improved massively this season for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Moussa Sissoko’s fruitful season at Tottenham Hotspur has seen him awarded the inaugural Tottenham Hotspur Legends’ Player of the Season accolade.
The 29-year-old went into the 2018-19 campaign on the back of two underwhelming seasons since his move to Spurs from Newcastle United and was a million miles away from being considered an asset for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
However, Sissoko rolled up his sleeves and went on to not only break into the first team with much-improved performances, helping Tottenham to a Premier League top-four finish and also the final of the Champions League, but also establish himself as a fan favourite.
As reported by the Spurs website, former defender Graham Roberts handed over the trophy to Sissoko on behalf of the group of legends in attendance at the club’s training ground, including Micky Hazard, Ossie Ardiles, Ricky Villa, Pat Jennings, Cliff Jones, Paul Allen, Justin Edinburgh, Mark Falco, Tony Galvin, Paul Miller, John Lacy and John Pratt.
Taking to Twitter, Sissoko described the accolade as a big honour, thanking his teammates, the Spurs staff, the legends and the fans for their help and support over the course of the season:
