Tottenham Hotspur’s Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele have both been linked with exits.

Belgium are busy preparing for Thursday’s World Cup clash with England, and a number of Tottenham Hotspur players may be in line to play in that game.
On the England side, Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Kane may all look to feature, whilst Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele could start for Belgium.
Both countries have already qualified for the last 16, meaning some squad rotation may be in effect, but Belgium’s stars have been gearing up for the game regardless.

Defender Alderweireld has impressed for Belgium despite a lack of playing time in the run-up to the tournament, having struggled to break back into Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham side.
Many expect Alderweireld to move on this summer, as he has a £25million release clause in his contract which can be activated next summer, and Spurs may cash in now whilst they can still dictate the fee.
Alderweireld isn’t the only one to be linked with a move away, as some expect experienced midfielder Dembele to leave Spurs too, with clubs in Italy believed to be keen on the powerful ex-Fulham star.
Now, Alderweireld has taken to Twitter to post a photo of himself alongside Dembele, joking that he is his ‘idol’, with the duo in Belgium training together earlier today following Saturday’s 5-2 win over Tunisia.
Fans also took to Twitter to respond, admitting that they love the photo of two popular Spurs stars together, with many urging the pair to sign new contracts and stay in North London, not move on and seek a new club this summer.
