The Spurs right-back is a doubt for Sunday’s Premier League trip to Liverpool, so Kieran Trippier may be in contention.

Tottenham Hotspur have issued a personnel update ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to Liverpool, with two players unavailable and another one currently being assessed.
Serge Aurier sustained a hamstring injury while on international duty with the Ivory Coast and, as such, is being monitored by the Spurs medical team.
The 26-year-old lasted just 30 minutes of his nation’s Africa Cup of Nations win over Rwanda last Saturday, as reported by The Mirror.
While Aurier is a doubt, Eric Dier and Harry Winks are continuing on-field rehabilitation following hip flexor and groin injuries respectively, and will be sidelined this weekend
Should Aurier not recover in time for the game against Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League leaders on Sunday, Kieran Trippier could be drafted in at right-back.
Judging by the reaction of some Tottenham fans on Twitter, this does not appear to be the most reassuring prospect, particularly against the likes of Sadio Mane:
Mauricio Pochettino’s charges are currently third in the Premier League table, 15 points adrift of Liverpool with 24 points left to play for, while fourth-placed Arsenal sit just one point behind and Manchester United a further two in fifth.
