Tottenham fans react to Wilfried Zaha’s goal for Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur fans were impressed by the moment of class that saw Wilfried Zaha score a stunning goal.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to praise Spurs’ reported summer target Wilfried Zaha after he scored a stunning goal during Crystal Palace’s draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Zaha has undoubtedly been Palace’s most dangerous player this season, and he provided another indication of that by scoring a fantastic goal 15 minutes from time at the Vitality Stadium that had looked set to win the Eagles the three points.

The Ivory Coast international received the ball inside the box and managed to keep it after a couple of challenges, using a superb turn to get away from one attempted tackle. He then proceeded to unleash a wicked shot from just outside the area that seemed to be so viscous that it did not even need to find the corner to leave the goalkeeper with no chance.

Bournemouth would equalise for a second time in the dying minutes, but that did not stop the Tottenham fans being left extremely impressed by what they saw from the 25-year-old.

The Sun recently reported that Spurs are planning to make a bid for the Palace winger in the summer, and Zaha could cost any interested side as much as £50 million.

And while some fans are still not entirely convinced that Tottenham should be spending that kind of money on Zaha, most were hugely impressed by the goal and several have expressed their hope that Spurs sign the forward at the end of the season.
