The Tottenham Hotspur target reportedly would prefer a move to Arsenal.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumour that Wilfried Zaha would prefer to join Arsenal this summer.
That’s according to The Daily Mail, who reported this afternoon that the £80 million-rated Crystal Palace winger would favour a move to the Gunners over Spurs.
The 26-year-old is apparently a boyhood fan of the Emirates Stadium club and it looks like they might have an advantage over Tottenham, who are also keen [The Mirror].

The interesting thing in the report is that Zaha is supposedly pleading with Palace owner Steve Parish to lower his £80 million demand to accommodate Arsenal, whose budget is only £45 million.
And, if we’re honest, it makes no sense for Zaha to ask Parish, his boss, to take a £35 million hit to ensure he gets his own way.
It’s very unlikely that the report is fully accurate and therefore Tottenham fans shouldn’t be completely pessimistic over their chances of signing him.
