The Cardiff boss thinks Spurs shouldn’t be allowed to switch from Wembley midway through the Premier League season, but some Lilywhites fans don’t agree.

Tottenham Hotspur should be forced to play at Wembley for the remainder of the season, according to Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock.
The north Londoners were due to move into their new stadium last summer but a number of delays in construction mean they are still waiting to take up residency.
This has meant Spurs have remained at Wembley going into the second half of the 2018-19 campaign, although it has not impacted upon their efforts – and indeed results – in the Premier League.
However, Warnock – whose side lost to Spurs at Wembley earlier this season and were beaten by them 3-0 in the Welsh capital on New Year’s Day – does not think Mauricio Pochettino’s side should be able to change home midway through the campaign.
The veteran manager believes that Cardiff’s relegation rivals could benefit from playing at Tottenham’s stadium in case the hosts struggle to adapt to their new surroundings and thus leave the Bluebirds – currently 16th in the league table – unfairly in the mire.
“The league should enforce they play at Wembley for the rest of the season,” Warnock told reporters, as quoted by BBC Sport.

“There shouldn’t be any chance of an advantage for our opponents. It’s not our fault – we should have been playing at the new stadium ourselves. I think they should step in now and rather than seven or six weeks, they should make it until the end of the season now and enforce it now.”
Some Spurs fans were not especially happy with Warnock’s comments and took to Twitter to make their feelings known:
