Troy Parrott will be hoping to make a breakthrough season for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are ecstatic after Troy Parrott was named in their up and coming Champions League squad.
The 17-year-old was named in the squad for the group stages of the tournament [Football.London], which begins on September 18 for Spurs, who will travel to Greece to take on Olympiakos.
A lot has been made about what Parrott can provide Tottenham in the long-term future and it would be something if he were to make his senior debut on the international stage.
It has to be said whilst Spurs fans are pleased that he has been named in the Champions League squad, they are keen for him to, at first, taste some minutes in England’s top-flight.
Parrott has been prolific in his age groups, as he has scored an impressive 22 goals in 31 games [transfermarkt], which is spread across the under-18’s, 19’s and 23’s.

At this moment in time, players are on international duty and upon their return, especially from a Spurs perspective, a busy September period awaits them.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will resume with a home clash against Crystal Palace before flying to Greece for their Champions League encounter.
They will then take on Brendan Rodgers’ high-flying Leicester City before an EFL Cup tie against Colchester – could that be the perfect game for Parrott to introduce himself to the Spurs supporters?
