Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur lost to West Bromwich Albion, but Toby Alderweireld played well.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Toby Alderweireld against West Bromwich Albion.
Alderweireld featured for Tottenham in the Premier League game against West Brom away from home at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
The 29-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost 1-0.
The performance of the Belgium international defender was superb, as he made some very good challenges and sliding blocks.

Alderweireld was one of the best players for Tottenham against West Brom, and fans of the North London club were impressed.
Spurs fans want Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to pay the defender whatever he wants in order to sign a new contract and do not want the former Ajax star to leave.
According to The Daily Mail, the former Atletico Madrid star wants a contract close to £200,000 per week and a five-year deal.
The report has also claimed that Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are interested in signing Alderweireld from Spurs in the summer transfer window.
