The Tottenham Hotspur playmaker does have a groin injury, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur are worried that Giovani Lo Celso has a ‘serious injury’ according to The Evening Standard.
Lo Celso, who joined Spurs on loan from Real Betis in August, returned to Hotspur Way early after picking up a knock on international duty with Argentina.
The 23-year-old has previously appeased concerns over his fitness by revealing that it was ‘nothing to worry about’ but it looks like Tottenham are.
According to The Evening Standard, the North Londoners fear that the former Paris Saint-Germain playmaker could be missing for ‘several weeks’ as a result of the setback.
Lo Celso hasn’t enjoyed a blistering start to life in the Premier League, only managing 44 minutes in the four games that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have played.
Here’s how Spurs fans reacted to the potential blow:
Tanguy Ndombele, a £63 million signing from Lyon, has missed the Lilywhites’ last two Premier League outings, while their other first-team addition from this past summer, Ryan Sessegnon, is yet to kick a ball under Pochettino yet.
Tottenham’s first signing of the summer, Jack Clarke, is struggling on loan back at Leeds and is yet to make a Championship appearance under Marcelo Bielsa this season.
