Tottenham Hotspur made it four games unbeaten and three wins in four with a 3-1 victory away at Newcastle United this evening.

Spurs beat Arsenal on Sunday, and headed back on the road to face Newcastle having endured difficult trips to Sheffield United and Bournemouth.

Jose Mourinho’s side did take the lead, as Son Heung-min fired home from Giovani Lo Celso’s pass to open the scoring.

Matt Ritchie did level the scoring, but Tottenham quickly went back in front as Harry Kane headed in Steven Bergwijn’s cross.

Kane added a third to seal the win, giving him his first away brace since 2018 as the striker proved some of his doubters wrong.

It’s fair to say that winger Bergwijn made a big impact, producing an inch-perfect cross for Kane’s first goal.

The Dutchman was impressive throughout his cameo having been brought on after 57 minutes, and Spurs fans have been raving about him.

Fans suggested that Bergwijn is Tottenham’s best player and can produce quality that nobody else can, with real excitement about his potential development for next season.

Others think that Bergwijn has shown that he is better than Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe, suggesting that he is ‘class’.
