Two Tottenham Hotspur stars faced off on international duty on Tuesday afternoon.

South Korea attacker Son Heung-min came up against Spurs mate Davinson Sanchez of Colombia.

And the Asian star managed to get the better of Sanchez in scoring the opening goal.

The young South American centre-back was guilty of not being tight enough on Son, who made the most of his space and drilled home the opener on 16 minutes.

Here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to what the former Bayer Leverkusen star – whose country won 2-1 – did to Sanchez:

The 22-year-old Sanchez could’ve done better, and the goalkeeper certainly could have, but it was only a friendly and therefore it’s not hugely important.

The important thing is that the Tottenham duo return to North London in good nick ahead of this Saturday’s visit to Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are third in the table, but they could drop outside the top four if Arsenal and Manchester United both win, though the Red Devils have inferior goal difference of seven in comparison to the North Londoners.
