The Spurs ace was booked for diving against Wolves and Shearer thought the ref got it right, but some Tottenham fans disagree.

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have challenged Alan Shearer for his views on Harry Kane’s yellow card incident in Saturday’s Premier League 3-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Spurs talisman gave his side the lead at Wembley on 22 minutes with a stunning long-range effort, with Wolves struggling to fashion chances come the half-time whistle.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s charges went on to concede three times in the second half as Willy Boly, Raul Jimenez and Helder Costa all struck for the visitors.
As well as falling to a defeat which saw them fall further behind Liverpool at the top of the table, Tottenham saw Kane booked after he went to ground under Ivan Cavaleiro’s challenge on the right wing, the referee deeming it to be a dive.
On BBC Match of the Day on Saturday night, the England legend disagreed with Danny Murphy over the incident, the latter saying Kane was hard done by as there appeared to be contact between the two.
“I think it is a dive,” said Shearer. “I think he’s trying to buy a free kick there, he’s already going over before that little bit of contact and if Harry Kane wants to stay up there, and he’s had worse challenges than that and has stayed up, I think he can stay up. I think the referee’s got it right.”

Some Tottenham fans weren’t pleased with Shearer’s views on the incident and, after MOTD posted the clip of his comments on Twitter, they criticised him:
