The reported Tottenham Hotspur target struggled against Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur fans aren’t loving the look of Ryan Sessegnon.
The 18-year-old was on the losing side as Fulham went down 2-0 away to Liverpool at Anfield.
With Liverpool challenging for the Premier League title, it was a good chance for Tottenham and other reported suitors to see how the youngster did on such a big stage.
But in truth, the game passed him by somewhat.
The Londoner, who bagged 15 Championship goals last season, also missed a sitter for the Cottagers during the second half in a chance which could have changed the game.
Tottenham have been repeatedly linked with a move for the talent who has been described as the new Gareth Bale, with The Sun reporting that Fulham would demand £100 million for his signature.
But it’s safe to say that a handful of Spurs fans weren’t blown away by his performance today.
Sessegnon is clearly a very fine talent and, at 18, he’ll obviously get a lot better. But he only has one Premier League goal under his belt this season, and it’s clear that he is struggling with the step-up in class to the top flight, after helping Slavisa Jokanovic’s side to promotion last term.
Is he worth £100 million? Probably not, but fortunately Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy won’t have to pay anywhere near that if Sessegnon – contracted until 2020 – is unable to agree a contract extension with Fulham.
