Tottenham Hotspur need reinforcements this summer, though that may be a little more difficult than previously hoped.
The global pandemic will hit Tottenham’s ability to spend this summer. With money owed on previous transfers and the club’s new stadium, Jose Mourinho will have to be clever.
Loans and swap deals may be pursued, as many free transfers. One potential signing to fit the latter bill is Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.
Fraser, 26, is out of contract at Bournemouth this summer. He has so far refused to agree a new deal with the Cherries, and looks set to leave.
Regularly linked with Arsenal, Fraser could yet end up at Tottenham. The Mirror claim that Fraser now wants to join Spurs, believing they offer the ideal step up from Bournemouth.
The Scot was superb in the 2018-19 season. Fraser hit seven goals and 14 assists last term, but his form has dipped this season, with his contract situation potentially affecting his play.

Now available for free, Mourinho may feel that Fraser can make an impact for Spurs. He has wingers at his disposal already, but Fraser provides versatility on both flanks and is a bargain for nothing.
Spurs fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumours, with many believing that he would be a fine squad addition.
Some would take Fraser ‘all day’ on a free transfer, and believe these are the kind of deals that trophy-winning sides need to make.
