The youngster scored his second hat-trick in 10 days as Tottenham Hotspur’s youth side progressed.

Tottenham Hotspur’s next generation made light work of Preston North End on Tuesday afternoon, as Spurs cruised into the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup with a 5-0 victory.
Not for the first time this season, 17-year-old striker Rodel Richards took the plaudits, with his hat-trick doing most of the damage, along with additional goals from Paris Maghoma and Phoenix Patterson.

Richards made it six goals in just 10 days, proving that he is very much one to watch and a potential challenger to the likes of Kazaiah Sterling and Reo Griffiths for the next big thing in North London.
The Tottenham teenager is in blistering form right now and that is exactly the kind of achievement that could catch the eye of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, especially if he can maintain it in 2018.

Tottenham have a habit of producing talented young players and giving them chances in the senior side where other clubs may leave them to falter, and Richards will know that, if he keeps going, his opportunity will come in due course.
Back-to-back hat-tricks speaks volumes for the player’s character and talent and it seems Tottenham fans have yet another youngster to get very excited about.
