The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been heavily linked with an exit from the club this summer.

According to a report from Football.London, Tottenham are looking to offer Christian Eriksen somewhere in the region of £200,000 per week in order to keep him at the club, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 27-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal with Tottenham, and he has been linked with a £130 million move to Real Madrid this summer, according to the Mirror.
Eriksen has been a vitally important player for Spurs over the past six years, and Mauricio Pochettino would surely like to keep him if he had the choice.
If Tottenham do offer the Dane a new contract and he refuses it, however, they must then sell him this summer, rather than risk losing him for nothing next year.

The talented play-maker cost Spurs just £11.5 million in 2013, according to BBC Sport, and he could be worth around 10 times that amount now – a sign of how much of a hit he has been in the Premier League.
Some Tottenham fans were split, however, on whether Eriksen would be worth a new £200,000 per week deal…
