Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Said Benrahma, but may need to pay £30 million.

A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react to the report from TEAMtalk this week which suggested that Mauricio Pochettino is interested in £30 million-rated Said Benrahma – and it appears that the supporters are divided over the links.

Benrahma has enjoyed an outstanding season in the Championship, scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists for Brentford. He has predominantly played out on the left, but the Algerian has shown that he is capable of being used anywhere in the forward line during his brief time at Griffin Park.

TEAMtalk reported this week that a host of top flight sides are interested in signing Benrahma, with Spurs joined by the likes of West Ham, Arsenal and Crystal Palace in scouting the 23-year-old recently.

The report adds that the Bees want £30 million for the winger, and are confident that they will receive that kind of bid for a player that they spent less than £5 million on in the summer.

Despite his remarkable form in the second tier, there are a number of Tottenham supporters on social media who are not convinced that they want to see £30 million spent on Benrahma, with one fan noting that they would rather see a marquee name targeted for twice as much.

Those who have seen Benrahma believe that he could be worth the money, but it appears that the youngster would have plenty to prove if he did join Spurs this summer as some are not sure that he would be worth the outlay.
