The striker is a reported target for Manchester United after his release from Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a report from Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United are interested in signing Fernando Llorente on a free transfer this summer, and some Tottenham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 34-year-old left Spurs after his contract expired this summer, having spent two years with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Llorente bagged just 13 goals in 66 appearances for Tottenham, so United’s reported interest in signing the Spaniard really is a strange one.
Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Manchester United are keen to bring the former Juventus and Athletic Bilbao front-man to Old Trafford as a potential short-term replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
Llorente always gave his all for Tottenham, but he did struggle to keep up with the pace and intensity of the Premier League, so Ole Gunnar Solskjær bringing him to United would be a highly questionable move.

He was a decent striker back in the day, but now at 34, he seems to be well past his best.
And the fact that Tottenham deemed him not good enough for a new deal should deter Manchester United from signing the Spaniard…even if he is available on a free.
