Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly amongst the host of clubs keen on signing Mario Lemina from Southampton this summer.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports coming out of French outlet FootMercato which suggested that Spurs are amongst the host of sides keen on signing Mario Lemina from Southampton during the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino has delivered another top four finish and has done it while also leading Spurs to the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the knockout stages of the Champions League. But with a report from the Daily Mirror suggesting that as many as five first-team players could be on their way, it appears that an overhaul of the squad could be on the cards.

Lemina is one player that Pochettino appears to be a big fan of, with FootMercato reporting that Tottenham are in the queue to sign the former Juventus ace. Everton, West Ham United and Arsenal are all also considering a bid for the 24-year-old.
The news that Spurs want Lemina – who earns £65,000-a-week at St Mary’s, according to Spotrac – has been met with a mixed response amongst the Tottenham fans on social media.

Lemina has made a bright start to his Premier League career. The Saints fans were treated to a handful of performances which suggested that the club had pulled off a stunning deal signing him from the Old Lady last summer, but there was also times when his form dipped significantly.
Lemina could go missing in some of the games when the Saints desperately needed him – they would, of course, go into the final day of the campaign still in danger of potentially going down if the most ridiculous couple of results happened – and that has left some Spurs supporters concerned by the links.
There are doubts that the talented midfielder is the right kind of target ahead of a potentially massive summer for the club when he is still some way off being the finished article based on this season’s evidence.
Here is what some of the Tottenham fans made of the links…
