Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a summer move for Andre Gomes.

Several Tottenham supporters have taken to Twitter to react to The Sun’s report this week suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino is interested in signing Everton loanee Andre Gomes this summer.
Gomes’ future is set to be up in the air at the end of the season. The Sun reports that the Toffees are keen to sign the midfielder from Barcelona permanently after his promising year at Goodison Park.
However, the report adds that Spurs are also interested in signing the Portuguese, and he could be willing to make the move to join Everton’s Premier League rivals as they continue to make progress on and off the pitch.
Unfortunately for Gomes, it appears that many of the Tottenham fans on social media have no interest in a potential deal for the 25-year-old at the end of the season.

Gomes has shown glimpses of his quality during his time on Merseyside, but there are plenty of Spurs supporters who believe that he is only average and would not actually improve Pochettino’s side if he did join.
There is some support for a move, but the majority are unconvinced that he would represent the kind of signing that would see Tottenham move up a level, especially after such a quiet spell for the club in the transfer market.

Here is what some of the Tottenham fans make of the reports…
