Tottenham Hotspur are looking to win their first top flight title since 1961.

Rafael Van der Vaart suggested that Tottenham don’t have enough to win the Premier League title this season, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in response to the Dutchman’s comments.
Spurs finished 28 points adrift of Premier League champions Manchester City last term, but Mauricio Pochettino has really bolstered his squad this summer, and many are tipping the north London outfit to push Pep Guardiola’s men all the way this time around.
Tottenham haven’t won the league since 1961, and Pochettino will be desperate to be the man who helps his side end that ridiculously long wait.
Spurs proved last season that they can mix it with the very best, and if they can find more consistency this term, they have every chance of usurping City and Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title.
Van der Vaart doesn’t think Tottenham have enough this season, however, telling Sky Sports:

“It’s going to be so tough. They are not strong enough to play through the whole season. Man City and Liverpool are too strong.”
