Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly demand the Madrid ace in exchange for the Dane.

According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham will demand Marco Asensio from Real Madrid in exchange for Christian Eriksen this summer, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

Erisken is out of contract next summer, so now seems like the right time for Spurs to sell the Denmark international, rather than risk losing him for nothing next year.

The Sun claims that Madrid are leading the race for the Tottenham man, but Daniel Levy is determined to get the best deal possible for the 27-year-old – no surprise there then.

The British tabloid claims that Spurs will demand the services of Asensio in exchange for the Dane this summer.

The Spain international is an exceptional talent. He can play anywhere along the frontline, and at the age of 23, he will only get better over the next few years.
