The Tottenham Hotspur ace could be sued in a different position this season.

According to a report from Football.London, Mauricio Pochettino is considering playing Moussa Sissoko at right-back for Tottenham this season, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news.

The Frenchman was sensational for Tottenham last season, forming a wonderful partnership with Harry Winks in the middle of the park.

Sissoko might struggle for regular action for Spurs this season, however, now that Tanguy Ndombele has arrived in north London for a club record fee.

And with Kieran Trippier having been sold to Atletico Madrid, and Juan Foyth not expected back to first-team training until September with an ankle injury (BBC Sport), Football.London claims that the 29-year-old could be utilised at right-back by Tottenham boss Pochettino.

Sissoko is powerful, has bundles of energy, and plays with a certain kind of tenacity that could actually make him the ideal candidate to fill in for Spurs at right-back.
