Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min has suffered a calf injury and is out of South Korea’s game against Lebanon today.
South Korea have been facing Lebanon in a World Cup qualifier today, but they’re having to do it without Son in their team.
SPOTV in South Korea report that Son has been left out of the game because he has felt some discomfort in his right calf.
Tottenham fans will remember that Son had an injury scare before the 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last month, but he then had strapping on his left hamstring.
This is a totally different injury blow, though it’s worth noting that the suggestions of a sprained calf are impossible because… well, you physically can’t sprain a muscle.
Tottenham will be hopeful that this isn’t too bad, especially with games coming thick and fast after the international break, but fans are fearing the worst.

Some fans have been taking to Twitter to react, stating that Tottenham are ‘finished’ with Son potentially out.
This international break has been rough on Tottenham given the situations surrounding Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso, and some want international games cancelled if Tottenham continue to draw the short straw.
Others are slamming Tottenham’s hierarchy for not signing another forward, believing Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici have left Tottenham short of options in attack.
