Tottenham Hotspur pulled off an impressive result in their Champions League group-stage clash, drawing 1-1 with Real Madrid.

Tottenham fans have been heaping praise on Moussa Sissoko on Twitter after the Frenchman was one of a number of Spurs players to put in an excellent display during their Champions League draw with Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have arguably put one foot in the knockout stages of the competition, with their 1-1 draw in the Bernabeu leaving them six points clear of Borussia Dortmund and APOEL with three games to play.
There were a number of fantastic performances from Tottenham players against Los Blancos, with Hugo Lloris making a couple of simply staggering saves, Harry Winks shining on the biggest stage and Fernando Llorente perhaps putting in his brightest performance to date as part of a front two alongside Harry Kane.
But Sissoko certainly put in a performance to rival any of his teammates, and it was a display that arguably confirmed that his turnaround from £30 million flop to important player in Pochettino’s squad is virtually complete.
It may not have been a flawless display from the former Newcastle man, but few will arguably go to the Bernabeu and start in a wide position and put in a better performance than Sissoko put in on a hugely significant night for Tottenham.
Unsurprisingly, Spurs fans have been heaping praise upon Sissoko following his performance against Madrid, and have also lauded Pochettino for helping turn the midfielder into a player who is clearly ready to help Spurs realise their current potential.
