Tottenham Hotspur fans were highly critical of Mousa Dembele’s performance at Wembley.

Several Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Mousa Dembele’s performance during Spurs’ FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United – and it appears that many are starting to question whether the Belgian should remain such an integral part of the team.

He would therefore, have been hoping to prove to the Spurs hierarchy that they should do all they can to keep him at the club when Mauricio Pochettino’s side met their Premier League rivals in the last four of the cup on Saturday. Unfortunately, he will now be reflecting upon a missed opportunity.
It was United who booked their place in the final as Dele Alli’s opener was cancelled out by Alexis Sanchez before Ander Herrera scored the winner during the second-half.

While he was not the only player who will be extremely disappointed with his display, Dembele definitely did not enjoy a good afternoon as he was knocked off the ball too easily by Paul Pogba in the seconds leading up to United’s equaliser.
He struggled to stamp his usual authority on the game, and that has prompted a number of Spurs fans to suggest that it was one of his worst performances for the club, while the supporters also urged Daniel Levy to make sure that they find a replacement for the former Fulham ace at the end of the campaign.
Here is the best of the reaction…
