Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a treble sale – and Spurs fans don’t like two of the men included in it.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter haven’t reacted well to rumours that Mousa Dembele and Toby Alderweireld could be sold this summer as part of an overhaul by Mauricio Pochettino.
According to The Guardian, Pochettino is willing to sell Dembele, Alderweireld and Danny Rose to finance the arrivals of others.
The ex-Fulham midfielder has been one of Tottenham’s best players this calendar year, with a series of outstanding and powerful display in Spurs’ midfield, while Alderweireld, whose contract expires next summer, has been a revelation alongside Jan Vertonghen in defence down the years.
And some fans of the North London club aren’t enthused about the idea of losing both Belgium internationals this summer.

Losing Rose has been on the cards for a while, so that might be why fans of the Lilywhites aren’t overly concerned about him.
Dembele and Alderweireld are arguably more popular figures in this Tottenham side and the supporters are right – both would represent significant losses, given their class.
But Spurs fans would be quick to forgive the Argentine manager if he were to replace the Belgian duo with better players, though when you consider how good they are, that is much easier said than done.
