Tottenham fans react to Mauricio Pochettino comments on Josh Onomah

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to manager Mauricio Pochettino’s recent comments about Josh Onomah.

Pochettino has suggested to Football.London that he could recall Onomah from his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday.

The 21-year-old joined Championship side Wednesday on a season-long loan from Premier League club Tottenham.

The youngster is now back at Spurs due to an injury, and Pochettino has suggested that he could recall the midfielder.

Pochettino told Football.London about Onomah: “Yes he is back here. I think it is going to be difficult but we will see in the next few weeks. We still have 13 days to decide, but he is injured.”

When asked if he has considered recalling Onomah: “Yes. Considering.”

Onomah has made eight starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Wednesday so far this season, providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

During his loan spell at Aston Villa last season, the youngster made 20 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Championship, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

With Mousa Dembele having left Tottenham in the January transfer window, Onomah could be seen as a replacement for until the end of the season.
