The Tottenham Hotspur winger flattered to deceive against the lowly outfit.

Quite a few Tottenham Hotspur players impressed on Friday night, but Lucas Moura wasn’t one of them.
Hell, even Fernando Llorente, one of Tottenham’s most disappointing signings of recent years, impressed in last night’s 7-0 drubbing at Tranmere.
And fans of the North London club were quick to hold Lucas accountable for his display.
It wasn’t so much the Brazilian was quiet, because he had a number of chances, but he squandered them all.
The Spurs attacker missed a great opportunity within 15 minutes of kickoff, and then fluffed a one-on-one in the second half.
Not that either miss was detrimental for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who were out of sight by 57 minutes, but Tottenham fans weren’t thrilled.
Here is their reaction to the former Paris Saint-Germain man’s performance:
With Son Hueng-min heading for the Asia Cup this month, Lucas needed a big performance to prove to Pochettino that Tottenham will be alright without him.
But his performance last night didn’t quite convey that and it remains to be seen if Erik Lamela – presently injured – will get more opportunities to play than Lucas during the South Korean’s absence.
